I have new video for you.

But first an important message:

I am going to take my Backyard Growing System
off the market for a while.  I need to change
some things and I’m busy working on my new nursery
and I spend a lot of time on the Backyard Growers
Message Board answering questions and buying plants!

Yes!  I am buying plants from my customers!

For right now it’s still available because I know
there are people that have been saving up to buy
it, but I have to pull it down soon.

But right now is a great time to get started
because summertime is a great time to make baby
plants.  And the Backyard Growers Message Board is
on fire with plant buying and plant selling activity.

The new video:

Today I want to show you my Mantis Roto-tiller and
what this incredible little machine is capable of.
Check it out:

The Mantis Roto-tiller really is an incredible little
machine.  Light as feather, but this tiny roto tiller
can really do the job.

It’s great for tilling up small gardens and flower beds.
It works really well for turning a compost pile, or
cultivating a garden.  It’s so light you can pick it up
with one hand.  It actually has a handle!

I really love my Mantis tiller.  It can’t do everything
that you might need, but it’s perfect for the lighter
jobs.  Many of the our Backyard Growers have them and
they all rave over this little machine.

I give it a strong endorsement.

Make somebody you love happy!  Give them a copy of my
plant propagation book!

‘Blue Angel’ Hosta.

'Blue Angel'hosta is by far one of my favorite blue hostas. A big hosta like this in a perennial bed covers a lot of area and that keeps a ton of weeds at bay! These giant heart shaped leaves are very slug resistant. We have this plant in full sun. With … Read Full Article

‘Big Daddy’ Hosta

'Big Daddy' hosta is one of my favorite big hostas, mostly because it's big, it's blue and it has very interested leaves that are a bit dimpled. Big Daddy hosta gets about 24" tall and 36" wide. It's hardy in zones 3 through 9, the flowers are blends of … Read Full Article

‘Humpback Whale’ Hosta.

We sold out of 'Humpback Whale' hosta pretty early this year. Humpback Whale is pretty impressive hosta and this one really hasn't matured yet because they can get three feet high and 7 feet wide. I've also seen photos of them that show them to be a lot … Read Full Article

Ice Plant, delosperma

How pretty is that? And it's a ground hugging perennial that comes back year and year. These plants were new to our nursery last year so Pam and I planted three of them in our landscape at home. Not only did they do really well last year but they wintered … Read Full Article
