Lightweight Expandable Hose That Never Kinks

Updated : August 4, 2015

A few years ago the expandable pocket hose hit the infomercial scene.  Maybe you were one who called in to order not one, but TWO expandable hoses if you acted right then.

It didn’t take long for the consumers to find fault in the too good to be true lightweight hose.  Consumer Reports tested the hoses and here is a video of their findings:

Well the manufacturers actually listened to the consumer complaints and made several improvements to the tiny, miracle hose and so Consumer Reports conducted another test and here are the new results: http://www.9news.com/story/money/personal-finance/consumer/2015/07/28/garden-hose-testing/30807985/

So for those of you who waited, now would be a good time to run out and get your very own lightweight, expandable hose!

The best thing about them is their lifetime warranty. The first two summers, I took leaky ones back for free replacement at least three times each summer! Last summer’s last replacement was the 3X Stronger model and so far this summer it only has two small leaks, so it should last thru the end of the season. I can replace it next summer- maybe they’ll have a 4X or 5X Stronger model by then!

    Otherwise I love using it!
