DIY Plant Cart

Nursery carts and wagons will help save time and your back!Easily move plants, pots and tools around your nursery, greenhouse or garden with this DIY plant cart!

This DIY Stroller Plant Cart will hold 8-10 plant pots (the $4.97 size Mike sells) and maneuvers well over most surfaces.

Give it a try, it only took ten minutes and cost nothing because I had all the parts. It is very light weight too.

Like the grocery stores know, the bigger the plant cart the more stuff people will put into it to buy.

STEP ONE: Gather your supplies.

stroller plant cartYou will need a baby stroller, a screw driver or scissors, four zip ties and a plastic pop crate from your local party store.

pop crate plant cartThe crates are usually piled outside just ask the clerk for one.(By the way, these are the same pop crates I use to root my cuttings in.) If you don’t happen to have one of these strollers hanging in your garage, you can find one at any garage sale or thrift store.

STEP TWO: Cut off the seat or remove the screws holding it onto the frame.

STEP THREE: Attach the plastic pop crate.

Now you are ready for your next plant sale or just to tool around in your garden!
