It took many years to wind up here, with two acres to call home. I have spent twenty years reclaiming it and learning how to live with almost two hundred very large fir trees. I love the country look and have an agreement with Mother Nature and Father time. We work together and they have taught me how-to live-in harmony with them. I thank you for your wisdom, if I cannot do it myself at least I know what to request from others for pleasing results. At 80+ years I am grateful for my blessings, keep up the good work.

    Sincerely, Donna J. Mitchell

We have inherited a property with fence line overgrown with native grapevine as thick as your arm, native poison ivy, in full bloom high up in the crappy, native wild cherry trees,, which are 40ft tall,, brittle and rotting.
True, there is also non native honeysuckle to boot.
The only ones happy about all this are birds, that we now need to provide new food source for.
It’s going to take us a couple years to clean up this mess and set it right!

Great article Mike. I’ve been up your way the last week or so
There sure are a lot of nurseries around Perry and Madison. Is yours or any open to the public?
    Keep up the good work?

      Rick,

We are open to the public. Best time to come is early in the day, sometimes we close early.

Way too much to list here. I have an inventory page on this site but it needs updating.
