I have been doing these summer get togethers for customers for so long I don’t even remember when we first started them. Years ago I know that. The first few were at my house on Middle Ridge, then we had a few at the house we live in now and for the past three years we’ve held them at my nursery. Many people come year after year and enjoy seeing the progression of the nursery.

We actually have meet ups like this several times of the year in different parts of the country. There was a really nice get together in Atlanta earlier this year and another coming up this fall. Think that one is also in Georgia, but obviously I’m not sure. One of our members is hosting it but I can’t remember for sure what state she is in. We have members all over the U.S., Canada and a number of other countries as well.

No promises at this point but I’d really like to meet in various locations around the U.S. It’s something I’m thinking about.
I tried the rooting method with the cutting and the potatoe -All I got was a waste of my potatoes,my time and effort put into the project plus my cuttings I used for your project that did not yield any new plants for me,all was a waste.

How much does it cost to have plants shipped to Canada, and would fruit trees from USA do well in our harsh winters?

Many of the climates in Canada are very similar to zone 5 in the U.S. so yes, most plants would do fine, just make sure they are hardy in your zone. Shipping across the border is tricky and most U.S. retail nurseries won’t do it. Wholesale growers ship to Canada all the time, but they ship thousands of plants at a time.
