Mimi’s Greenhouse is owned and operated by Grower and Master Gardener, Kathy Green. Specializing in herbs, perennial flowers and shrubs, Hosta, heirloom roses, hydrangeas, Kathy is always on the lookout for rare and unusual plants to share with her customers. Our plants are affordable because we grow them ourselves and take special care to make them as healthy and beautiful as we would if we were growing them for our own garden.

Shopping at Mimi’s is an education in gardening and plant care. Kathy always has time to answer your questions and make suggestions for your garden, share a recipe or money saving tip.

Open every Friday and Saturday in May and June and other times by appointment. The first sale every year is a private sale (before we advertise to the general public) for Mimi’s customer email list. Kathy would love to speak to your club or church group about gardening and how God has been a huge part of this business. 10% of the sales from Mimi’s Greenhouse go to support missionaries in the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky.

Even if you don’t need plants, a tour of the gardens at Mimi’s Greenhouse is worth the trip. Something is always blooming in Mimi’s garden. Come see the best kept secret in White House and help us spread the word about our plants!

‘Blue Angel’ Hosta.

'Blue Angel'hosta is by far one of my favorite blue hostas. A big hosta like this in a perennial bed covers a lot of area and that keeps a ton of weeds at bay! These giant heart shaped leaves are very slug resistant. We have this plant in full sun. With … Read Full Article

'Big Daddy' hosta is one of my favorite big hostas, mostly because it's big, it's blue and it has very interested leaves that are a bit dimpled. Big Daddy hosta gets about 24" tall and 36" wide. It's hardy in zones 3 through 9, the flowers are blends of … Read Full Article

‘Humpback Whale’ Hosta.

We sold out of 'Humpback Whale' hosta pretty early this year. Humpback Whale is pretty impressive hosta and this one really hasn't matured yet because they can get three feet high and 7 feet wide. I've also seen photos of them that show them to be a lot … Read Full Article
