A Christmas Gift? For me?

A Christmas Gift? For me?

Cookies! How could they possibly have known?

Cookies! How could they possibly have known?

Tim and Patty (“Cookie”), thank you so much for thinking of us at this time of the year.  But mostly, thanks for being part of our Backyard Growers Family!

Folks, I’m sharing this for a couple of reasons.

  1.  All of Our Members are like family to me.  Words cannot even begin to explain why.
  2. Timothy did something for me that I’ll never be able to re-pay him for.

At our Backyard Growers Shindig in August of 2016 he took some pictures of our little yellow dog who we lost a few weeks later.  I didn’t even know that he photographed her.  When he found out we lost her he sent me These Photos of Our Little Yellow Dog.

And for that I can’t thank him enough!

How Patty got the name “Cookie” at the Shindig.

We were doing introductions, kinda going around the room and I introduced Tim but couldn’t remember Patty’s name and she couldn’t tell me because she had a cookie in her mouth.  She kinda pointed to her mouth and said; “Cookie”, so I said; “And Tim’s wife Cookie”.  Everybody laughed but the name kind a stuck.

So low and behold I get a package in the mail at Christmas from “Patty Berrier” and it was a box of cookies!  Thank you so much!

It’s the people that we have met on this insane journey that make all the difference in the world and they literally have and will forever have changed our lives and for that I am forever grateful.

To all of you that I’ve met, the many of you that I probably never will meet, to those that have been following my antics for years, Thank You!

You all mean more to me than you’ll ever know.

Cookies don’t come close to thanking you for all that you have done for us, Mike. You deserve every good thing that comes your way in this life, and more. A more genuine soul does not exist, to my knowledge.

You have been the biggest and the best inspiration in our lives since we both lost our jobs. Without you, and all of your members in the BYG Business Center/Private Members Area, we would be totally lost in this world. Through you, we have found some light in our darkest days, and for that there are not enough cookies in the world.

It has been ALL our pleasure in coming to meet you, work with you, know you and to talk with you. when we needed advice the most We have learned more from you and your board than all of the books that I have ever read.

We encourage everyone out there who has the slightest interest in becoming a Backyard Gardener to join Mike’s membership. It is without any doubt whatsoever the absolute best money that we have EVER spent. It is worth more to me than my college education and I do not exaggerate one bit.

Mike is the nicest guy that I have ever met. Yet it is so much more about him that led us to him. He is truly a genius, along with Pam and Duston at his side. He has built something that will live long after him and I, for one, will never, ever forget what he has done for us.

There are not words to express our feelings about Mike and his gang.

We hope you have the most Merry Christmas that you have ever had, Mike. You deserve it, my friend.
