February 23rd, doors open at 8:00 a.m. and runs until 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 per person at the door.

This takes place at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds, 17746 County Road 34 in Goshen, Indiana

I am just one of four speakers that day so this is going to be an awesome event for gardeners of all ages. More details on their Facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/events/533971447040551/

I agreed to do this event for one simple reason. It will give me the chance to meet Our Members and others in that area that can’t typically make it to Our Summer Shindig. I will be at this event all day on the 23rd of February so come on by and we’ll hang out.

I’ve got two speaking times, one in the morning and one in the afternoon but for the rest of the day I look forward to meeting, chatting and catching up with members and customers. I’ve been doing what I do online now for 20 years. Can you believe that? 20 years!

I’d love to meet you and I hope we can make this Gardening Expo an awesome event for the Michiana Master Gardeners Association. I can assure you, they’ve been working really hard putting this thing together so come out and enjoy the fruits of their labor.

I’ll see you there! And by all means stay inspired!
-Mike McGroarty

      Larry,

We have a bunch of members in the Pennsylvania but I don’t know who really grows what. You’d have to be in the members area to get that info. http://backyardgrowers.com/join

'Blue Angel'hosta is by far one of my favorite blue hostas. A big hosta like this in a perennial bed covers a lot of area and that keeps a ton of weeds at bay! These giant heart shaped leaves are very slug resistant. We have this plant in full sun. With … Read Full Article

‘Big Daddy’ Hosta

'Big Daddy' hosta is one of my favorite big hostas, mostly because it's big, it's blue and it has very interested leaves that are a bit dimpled. Big Daddy hosta gets about 24" tall and 36" wide. It's hardy in zones 3 through 9, the flowers are blends of … Read Full Article

We sold out of 'Humpback Whale' hosta pretty early this year. Humpback Whale is pretty impressive hosta and this one really hasn't matured yet because they can get three feet high and 7 feet wide. I've also seen photos of them that show them to be a lot … Read Full Article
