Robin is a Member of Our Backyard Growers Business Center which is why her nursery is featured here.

Visit Robin’s Backyard Nursery for a real treat.

We are only a short 30 minute drive from Sarnia, Strathroy or Grand Bend just off highway 21 in Forest. We are 2 blocks west of Tim Hortons and right behind Ash’s Restaurant. Just park out front, walk down the short driveway and through the open gate. We’ll be waiting to chat with you.

Robin’s Backyard Nursery, Forest Ontario, Canada

We are family owned and operated with my daughter, granddaughters and I since 2016.

We love talking plants so ask as many questions as you would like or just browse around. We offer an excellent variety of plants for any type of garden whether it is full sun or full shade, or a wet area or dry area, we have plants for you.

Looking for a new flowering shrub for pollinators? We can recommend something that’s perfect for your garden.

Want to put up privacy hedges to block your pesky neighbors? We can help you with that too!

We offer more than 150 varieties of perennials, ornamental grasses, garden shrubs, trees, and lots of fruit and berry plants and we continue to grow every year.

Blue Artic Willow.

Choose from Hydrangea plants, Butterfly Bushes, Weigelas, Serviceberries, flowering ornamental trees, some of the best ground cover plants around and so much more, all at very good prices.

Looking for berries? We have strawberries, blueberries, raspberry, blackberries, gooseberries, elderberries, and the list goes on.

You can check out our website https://www.robinsbackyardnursery.ca/ and download our currant availability list for a complete list of what we offer, plus our website is full of information on the plants we sell.

Most of the plants we offer come from cuttings we take when we prune the plants that we have growing around the yard. The plants we don’t have room to grow (ex. large trees) we can get from other Ontario growers. So if there is something you are looking for that isn’t on our availability list, let us know and we can look into getting it for you.

The plants we sell stay outside in our climate year round, uncovered and open to the cold Canadian winter winds and hot summer days so you know they can handle our climate.

Every weekend in May, June, September, and October we have some great plant sales. All at extremely good prices, so watch for our ads!

Our hours are from 9 until 4 every day but if you are busy during those hours just let us know and we can set up a time to meet. In July and August we are usually around but it’s best to call or message before hand to make sure we are here.

All of this is possible because of a few videos I watched from a guy in bib overalls. Thanks Mike McGroarty for all the mentoring and invaluable information we have received from You and Everyone in Your Members Area.
